Why the app
The Chrome extension only covers Chrome. The Windows app covers everything, and stays out of your way in the tray.
Whole computer
Every app on Windows goes through the US IP while connected, not just the browser.
Number on the taskbar
A small badge on the taskbar icon shows which server you are on, like #1 or #4.
One-click connect
Same login and servers as the extension. Pick a city, press connect, done.
Safe disconnect
Close the app or restart Windows and your connection returns to normal by itself.
Install in two minutes
The app is shared privately, so Windows will ask once before it runs. That is normal.

Download the installer
Click Download for Windows above. The file is
power-vpn-desktop-setup.exe. -
Run it
Double-click the file. If Windows shows a blue "Windows protected your PC" box, click More info, then Run anyway. It installs in a few seconds and opens.

Log in
Enter the email and password your admin gave you (same as the extension).

Connect
Pick a server if you like, then press the big power button. The taskbar icon shows the server number while you are connected.
Updating? Just run the new installer over the old one. No account yet? Power VPN is invite only, ask your admin.
